The BTG has pledged to plant 150 Trees in honor of Chautauqua's 150th Birthday!
 
We will resume tree sales in late winter/early spring of 2027 for fall 2027 plantings. Because newly planted trees require a lot of care, the garden crew can only plant and water 50 trees a year. Therefore, this campaign is 50 trees a year for three years! 
 
To maintain tree diversity on our grounds and to allow for changes in the availability of species, we will choose the species of tree that is most needed on the grounds. The map shows potential tree species that we often use for those who are curious. 
 
All donations are fully tax-deductible. The BTG is a 501c3, non-profit, separate from Chautauqua Institution. Our Tax ID/EIN # is 52-2374687.
