Week Four: Ravine Program

Nature Talks
Elyse Henshaw
Location: Burgeson Nature Classroom

Quietly infiltrating backyards, city-scapes and forests, invasive species are changing the many dynamic ecosystems that exist. What are the impacts of these different invasives and what ones have arrived into our very own backyards? Join Elyse Henshaw, Conservation Technician with the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History, with a hands-on view of invasive species. Examine various invasive species found in our region, as she discusses what changes they are making to our backyards and beyond and what we can do to help our native ecosystems.
