Photographer Elmore DeMott, will present Flowers for Mom, a series of daily photographs which is her artistic response to her mother’s struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Elmore began photographing flowers in her mother’s honor in August of 2016 and finds hope and meaning in their beauty. This award winning fine art photographer's work is both poignant and meaningful.
Elmore DeMott earned a degree in Math and Fine Arts from Vanderbilt University and has worked in both business and the arts. Currently she is most known for her photography's unique dramatic feel. Her work is featured in numerous publications and galleries as well as private and corporate art collections. She has been included in several juried shows each year, and finds inspiration in teaching and speaking about photography. As a mother of two daughters she has a passion for the arts and engaging new and young audiences.
