Chautauqua Bird, Tree & Garden Club Mission Statement

To promote and preserve the beauty of the Chautauqua grounds as well as its habitats and ecosystems. We advocate the protection of birds and bats, the conservation and expansion of our tree canopy and the maintenance of the gardens of the Chautauqua Institution. The club provides educational programs and works to preserve the environment through projects and strategic alliances.

BTG at the Chautauqua Bookstore

100 Years of Beauty is a complete history commissioned by the BTG to commemorate the club's centennial. It is a carefully researched look at the many facets and activities of this unique environmental organization, now over 100 years old.

Reasonably priced at the $20 at the Chautauqua Institution bookstore and also available for sale before the 12:15 p.m. Monday and Tuesday lecture programs at Smith Wilkes Hall.
